Final Fantasy XVI - What do you need to know?

Final Fantasy 16 was just released. I don’t know about you guys, but this is why I bought a PS5. I have not been this excited about a Final Fantasy in a while. The hype is real!

Do I Need to Play Final Fantasy XV Before I Play XVI?

Not at all! If you are new to the Final Fantasy Series, don’t feel like you need to play the others to get caught up! You can jump right into FF 16. It is bit a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XV, or any others. The story will be a stand alone experience.

There are some themes and elements that are in most Final Fantasy games. You can expect some magic. Some Moogles. Usually crystals.

What Do I Need to Play Final Fantasy XVI?

A PS5. And some time. To beat the story, you can expect to play around 30 hours. If you have those, you are good to jump in!

How is the Game?

I can’t say how if you’ll like it or not. So far the game has had a great reception from reviewers and gamers alike. I am loving it myself.
