Bird Skeleton Series
During this series I was researching Mesoamerican shamanism and ritual paraphernalia. By focusing on specific aspects of bird skeletal structure, my intention was to draw out a sense of "metamorphosis" and transformation that is so present in Mesoamerican art and sculpture.
